Based in Vouvray in the Loire Valley, Domaine du Clos Naudin is the historic estate of the Foreau family, known for traditional Chenin Blanc grown on the limestone-rich tuffeau soils of the appellation. The Demi-Sec style balances natural residual sugar with vibrant acidity. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in neutral oak barrels, followed by extended ageing to build depth and stability. The warm 2015 vintage delivered ripeness and richness while maintaining freshness. Compared to the Sec bottling, Demi-Sec is broader and more textural, combining baked apple, honeyed citrus and subtle mineral tension with long ageing potential.
