What are your delivery costs?
We deliver nationwide within New Zealand. All freight charges are calculated at the checkout upon completion of delivery address.
We absorb a portion of the cost of freight for Trade Accounts.
All orders with a value exceeding $750.00 qualify for free delivery (nationwide).
Freight (incl. GST):
- Wellington local = $11.95
- North Island elsewhere = $16.95
- South Island anywhere = $26.95
- Rural delivery nationwide + $9.95
Excessive weight (e.g., Champagne bottles) may incur an additional excess charge.
Who delivers my wine, and what days are deliveries made?
We use NZ Post for all our courier deliveries.
We dispatch on weekdays from Tuesday to Friday.
The cut-off time for orders is 11am on day of shipment. Orders made after 11am will be dispatched the following dispatch day. Orders made after 11am on Friday will be dispatched on Tuesday.
We also strive to provide the best service however sometimes couriers may face some delays and we therefore cannot guarantee delivery days. Our priority is to deliver your wines as soon as possible.
What if I’m not in when my wine is delivered?
By default a signature is required to receive your order, however you can choose to opt out of this. Your NZ Post driver will leave you a card to say they called. Your wine can be collected from the courier depot or you can arrange for a new time for it to be delivered to you. If you choose to have your wine left at a specific place (using the comments box when ordering online) the wine will not be insured once it is left by the courier.
Can I collect my order?
Yes of course, just select ‘Pick Up from Noble Rot’ at the Checkout and we will prepare your order for collection. We will notify you by email when it’s ready to collect. Our pickup address is Noble Rot Wine Bar, 6 Swan Lane, Wellington. Pickup from 3pm Tuesday to Saturday, and treat yourself to a glass while you’re there 🙂
Can you deliver wine to someone else on my behalf?
Yes, as long they’re over 18 years old.
