Located in the village of Le Perréon in Beaujolais, Domaine de la Madone farms hillside vineyards planted to Gamay on granite soils typical of the region. Cuvée Fûts de Chêne is produced from selected parcels and aged partly in oak barrels, giving the wine greater depth compared with the estate’s tank-aged cuvées. Fermentation takes place using traditional whole-cluster methods before maturation in oak to build structure. The warm 2017 vintage delivered ripe fruit balanced by freshness.
