Based in the village of Neive in Piedmont, Massimo Rivetti produces Serraboella Riserva from one of Barbaresco’s most respected crus. The vineyard sits on calcareous marl slopes that give Nebbiolo both structure and aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel followed by extended ageing in oak casks before additional bottle maturation. The outstanding 2015 vintage delivered both concentration and balance. Compared with the estate’s classic Barbaresco, Serraboella Riserva shows greater depth and ageing potential, combining red cherry, dried rose, tar and spice with firm tannins and long mineral finish characteristic of top Barbaresco vineyards. https://www.massimorivetti.it
