Based in Dürnstein, Weingut Leo Alzinger farms steep gneiss terraces overlooking the Danube. Loibenberg is a warm vineyard producing structured wines, here interpreted in a lighter Federspiel style. The 2014 vintage was fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness and aged briefly on fine lees. Compared to Loibenberg Smaragd, this Federspiel version is more restrained, showing citrus, white peach and mineral lift with vibrant acidity and clean finish. https://alzinger.at/
