Based in Bergholtz in Alsace, Domaine Dirler-Cadé produces Sélection de Grains Nobles wines in exceptional vintages where noble rot develops. Pinot Gris Bux SGN is sourced from botrytised grapes grown on clay-limestone soils in the Bux vineyard. Fermentation takes place slowly in traditional oak foudres, followed by extended ageing before release. The warm 2009 vintage delivered exceptional concentration balanced by acidity.
