Based in Oberloiben in the Wachau, Weingut F. X. Pichler is renowned for producing some of Austria’s most sought-after dry Rieslings. Kellerberg is one of the region’s most celebrated vineyards, a steep terraced site with gneiss soils overlooking the Danube.
Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel and large oak casks before extended lees ageing. Classified as Smaragd, the wine represents the richest dry style of the Wachau.
