Based in the coastal hills of Maremma, Fattoria Le Pupille cultivates Sangiovese for the production of Morellino di Scansano. The vineyards are planted on sandy clay soils that benefit from maritime influence. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats followed by brief ageing to maintain freshness. The 2023 vintage emphasised aromatic brightness and lively acidity. Compared with the slightly richer 2022 vintage, this release shows greater vibrancy, combining red cherry, raspberry and subtle herbal notes with fresh structure and easy drinkability. https://www.fattorialepupille.it
