Located in the hills of Maremma, Fattoria Le Pupille produces Poggio Valente from a single vineyard planted primarily to Sangiovese. The vineyard lies on clay-rich soils that provide both concentration and structure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop complexity. The warm 2020 vintage delivered ripe fruit and polished tannins.
