Located in Maremma in Tuscany, Fattoria Le Pupille produces Poggio Valente from a single vineyard planted primarily to Sangiovese. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak barrels to develop structure and complexity. The warm 2020 vintage delivered concentrated fruit and balanced acidity. Compared with the estate’s Morellino wines, Poggio Valente shows greater depth and ageing potential, combining dark cherry, plum and spice with structured tannins and mineral backbone.
