Based in the coastal hills of Maremma, Fattoria Le Pupille produces Saffredi as its flagship wine. The blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grown on clay and sandy soils influenced by the Mediterranean climate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop depth and complexity. The warm 2020 vintage delivered concentration and polished tannins.
