2017 Champagne Marie Courtin Concordance Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut
Based in the Côte des Bar in southern Champagne, Champagne Marie-Courtin is a small grower estate founded by Dominique Moreau, working organically and inspired by biodynamic principles. Concordance is produced entirely from Pinot Noir grown on Kimmeridgian limestone soils typical of the Aube. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel without dosage, allowing the vineyard character to show clearly. The balanced 2017 vintage delivered both ripeness and freshness. Compared with the estate’s other cuvées, Concordance is the purest expression of Pinot Noir from a single vintage, combining red apple, citrus and subtle brioche notes with chalky minerality and refined mousse.
