Based in Dürnstein, Weingut Leo Alzinger crafts structured Riesling from steep gneiss terraces. The Riesling Reserve Magnum blends selected vintages from older vines in top parcels, harvested at full ripeness and bottled in larger format for extended ageing. Fermented in stainless steel with partial large oak ageing, the wine spent extended time on fine lees before bottling. Compared to standard Smaragd wines, this Reserve shows greater depth and ageing potential.
