Based in Beaujolais, Domaine Jules Desjourneys produces site-driven wines from carefully farmed old-vine parcels. La Chapelle des Bois is sourced from granite soils in the Fleurie cru, a site known for producing elegant and aromatic Gamay. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts using partial whole clusters, followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop structure while preserving fruit purity. The cooler 2014 vintage delivered freshness and precision.
