Based in Beaujolais, Domaine Jules Desjourneys cultivates old-vine Gamay across selected parcels in Moulin-à-Vent. Styx is sourced from granite soils with manganese influence that produce some of the cru’s most structured wines. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts using whole clusters, followed by ageing in French oak barrels for depth and ageing potential. The warm 2015 vintage delivered powerful structure and concentrated fruit.
