Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy, Domaine Philippe Gavignet cultivates Chardonnay in small parcels alongside its Pinot Noir vineyards. Les Argillats is a limestone-rich site on the northern side of the appellation known for producing structured white Burgundy. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels before ageing on fine lees. The cooler 2013 vintage emphasised freshness and mineral precision.
