Located in the Mosel Valley, Weingut Markus Molitor produces Eiswein from grapes harvested naturally frozen in the vineyard. Brauneberger Mandelgraben Riesling Eiswein comes from steep slate vineyards above the Mosel River where cold winter temperatures allow the grapes to freeze before pressing. The frozen berries are pressed while still solid, producing highly concentrated juice with natural sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity. The 2016 vintage allowed excellent conditions for Eiswein production.
