Based in the Barolo village of Vergne, G. D. Vajra produces Bricco delle Viole from Nebbiolo grown in one of the highest vineyards of the appellation. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts followed by ageing in large oak casks. The balanced 2020 vintage delivered ripe fruit supported by fresh acidity. Compared with the more structured 2019 vintage, this wine shows slightly softer tannins while retaining the vineyard’s characteristic elegance, combining red cherry, floral notes and subtle spice with refined structure. https://www.vajra.it
