Produced from biodynamically farmed vineyards in southern Alsace, this Pinot Noir reflects the increasing potential of the variety in the region’s cooler sites. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted before fermentation with indigenous yeasts, allowing the purity of the fruit and vineyard character to be fully expressed. Gentle extraction during fermentation preserves elegance and aromatic finesse, while maturation in a combination of seasoned oak barrels provides texture, structure and complexity without overwhelming the fruit. Extended ageing on fine lees further enhances depth and balance. The 2020 vintage displays aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and gentle spice. The palate is silky and refined, supported by fine tannins, fresh acidity and an elegant, savoury finish.
