Located in the West Pomeranian region of north-western Poland, Winnica Turnau has established itself as one of the country’s benchmark producers, crafting wines that showcase the potential of Poland’s emerging cool-climate vineyards. This Chardonnay is sourced from carefully selected estate-grown fruit cultivated on glacial soils that provide excellent drainage and encourage balanced ripening. Following a gentle pressing, the juice is fermented and matured for approximately ten months in a combination of oak and acacia barrels, allowing the wine to develop additional texture, complexity, and subtle spice while preserving its natural freshness. The 2023 vintage reflects excellent growing conditions, delivering aromas of ripe apple, pear and citrus alongside subtle notes of white flowers and hazelnut. The palate is vibrant and balanced, combining fresh acidity with a rounded texture and elegant finish.
