Situated at the western entrance to Chablis’ celebrated Grand Cru hillside, Bougros is known for producing wines of both power and accessibility. Patrick Piuze sources fruit from carefully tended parcels planted on classic Kimmeridgian soils, allowing the site’s distinctive personality to shine through. Fermentation and ageing are carried out with minimal intervention to preserve vineyard expression and purity. The 2024 vintage displays aromas of ripe citrus, white peach and nectarine, layered with notes of wet stone, oyster shell and subtle spice. The palate is concentrated and expansive, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.
