Based in Vouvray, Domaine du Clos Naudin crafts long-lived Chenin Blanc shaped by limestone-rich soils. The Moelleux style reflects a sweet expression, often produced in years allowing noble rot or late harvest concentration. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in neutral oak barrels and aged extensively before release, the wine balances richness with acidity. The warm 2018 vintage delivered ripe fruit and natural sweetness. Compared to Demi-Sec, Moelleux is richer and more concentrated, combining honey, quince and candied citrus with vibrant acidity and long ageing potential.
