Based in Canale in the Roero hills, Matteo Correggia farms Nebbiolo on sandy and limestone soils that give aromatic complexity and structure. Roche d’Ampsej is a single-vineyard Roero sourced from mature Nebbiolo vines planted on steep slopes. Fermented in stainless steel with extended maceration and aged in French oak barrels, the wine develops depth and elegance. The balanced 2015 vintage offered both ripeness and structure.
