Based in Montagny, Domaine Cottenceau cultivates Chardonnay on classic clay-limestone soils of the Côte Chalonnaise. Les Préaux is a vineyard parcel producing structured and mineral-driven wines. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged partly in neutral oak barrels, the wine develops texture while maintaining freshness. The 2021 vintage shows clarity and precision. Compared to Les Dazés, Les Préaux is more linear and mineral-focused, combining citrus zest, green apple and firm limestone backbone with persistent finish.
