Based in Beaujolais, Domaine Jules Desjourneys farms low-yielding vineyards planted to Gamay across the region’s granite slopes. Le Jugement Dernier from Chénas is produced from mature vines grown on decomposed granite soils. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak barrels, the wine develops depth and structure while preserving varietal purity. The cooler 2014 vintage delivered tension and precision.
