Based in the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy, Domaine Jules Desjourneys cultivates Chardonnay across carefully selected limestone vineyards. En Chailloux comes from parcels in the village of Prissé planted on stony clay-limestone soils that give both freshness and structure. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, followed by ageing on fine lees to build texture while preserving mineral clarity. The warm 2020 vintage delivered ripe fruit balanced by natural acidity.
