Based in Beaujolais, Domaine Jules Desjourneys produces site-specific wines from carefully farmed vineyards across the region’s crus. Chassignol is a historic climat in Moulin-à-Vent planted on granite soils with manganese influence that deliver structure and depth. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts using whole clusters, followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop complexity. The cooler 2014 vintage emphasised freshness and precision.
