Based in Bergholtz in Alsace, Domaine Dirler-Cadé farms biodynamically across limestone and sandstone vineyards at the foothills of the Vosges Mountains. Gewurztraminer is sourced from estate parcels planted on clay-limestone soils that promote both aromatic intensity and balance. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in large traditional oak foudres, followed by ageing on fine lees to build texture while preserving varietal character. The warm 2020 vintage delivered expressive aromatics balanced by freshness.
