Located in the village of Gueux in the Montagne de Reims, Champagne La Closerie is the project of grower Jérôme Prévost, known for small-production Champagnes made almost entirely from Pinot Meunier. Fac-Simile Rosé is produced from old Meunier vines grown on sandy and limestone soils in the Les Béguines vineyard. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels followed by traditional bottle fermentation and extended ageing on lees before disgorgement. The 2014 vintage delivered freshness and aromatic precision.
