Based in the Mosel Valley, Weingut Markus Molitor produces some of Germany’s most celebrated sweet Rieslings from historic vineyards including Zeltinger Sonnenuhr. This Trockenbeerenauslese comes from individually selected botrytised berries harvested at extreme ripeness. Fermentation takes place slowly in traditional oak fuder followed by long maturation to integrate sweetness and acidity. The warm 2013 vintage produced wines of remarkable richness and intensity.
