Based in La Morra in Piedmont, Poderi Oddero is a historic family estate known for traditional expressions of Nebbiolo. The Barbaresco Rombone comes from the renowned Rombone vineyard in the commune of Treiso, where calcareous marl soils and favourable exposures produce structured and ageworthy wines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel followed by extended ageing in large Slavonian oak casks, in keeping with the estate’s classic style. The balanced 2018 vintage delivered both elegance and freshness.
