Based in the Barolo village of Vergne, G. D. Vajra produces Dolcetto d’Alba from hillside vineyards surrounding the estate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel followed by brief maturation to maintain freshness and varietal character. The warm 2023 vintage delivered expressive fruit and lively acidity. Compared with the 2022 vintage, this wine shows slightly brighter fruit expression, combining blackberry, cherry and subtle almond notes with soft tannins and fresh finish typical of Dolcetto. https://www.vajra.it
