2019 Domaine Bonnet-Huteau Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine Goulaine
Based in La Chapelle-Heulin, Domaine Bonnet-Huteau cultivates biodynamic vineyards across varied Muscadet soils. Goulaine is sourced from parcels rooted in granite and sandy soils near the Goulaine marshes, producing rounder and more expressive Melon de Bourgogne. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in underground glass-lined tanks, the wine is aged extensively on fine lees to build texture and complexity. The 2015 vintage shows greater richness and depth, while 2019 emphasises freshness and saline precision. Compared to Les Laures, Goulaine is broader and more approachable, combining citrus, orchard fruit and subtle mineral lift with balanced acidity. https://www.bonnet-huteau.fr
