Les Verchères is a Bourgogne Blanc sourced from estate parcels planted on clay-limestone soils that provide freshness and structure. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, typically in stainless steel with partial ageing in neutral oak barrels to build texture without masking fruit purity. The cool 2021 vintage emphasised acidity and mineral precision. Compared to the Montagny wines of the domaine, Bourgogne Blanc Les Verchères is lighter and more immediate, combining citrus, green apple and subtle floral notes with crisp structure and clean finish.
