Based in Chavanay in the northern Rhône, Domaine Faury farms steep vineyards planted primarily to Syrah on schist and granite soils. The 3 Brunes cuvée comes from parcels situated mainly in the Côte Brune sector, producing wines with structure and ageing potential. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak barrels, the wine reflects the traditional style of Côte-Rôtie. The cooler 2021 vintage emphasised freshness and precision. Compared to the richer 2020 vintage, this release shows slightly more tension, combining dark cherry, violet and pepper notes with refined tannins. https://www.vins-lionel-faury.fr
