Based in Wehlen in the Mosel Valley, Weingut Markus Molitor produces Pinot Noir from selected hillside vineyards planted on slate soils. Brauneberger Mandelgraben Spätburgunder comes from a steep site overlooking the Mosel River where cool conditions favour elegant styles of Pinot Noir. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop structure and complexity. The balanced 2020 vintage delivered fresh fruit and refined tannins.
