Macvin du Jura is one of the Jura’s most traditional wines, produced by blending freshly pressed grape must with locally distilled Marc du Jura before undergoing extended maturation in oak barrels. This fortified wine is crafted primarily from the estate’s indigenous Jura varieties, allowing both fruit purity and oxidative complexity to develop during ageing. The 2022 release reveals aromas of dried apricot, candied citrus and toasted nuts. Rich and concentrated on the palate, it is beautifully balanced by freshness and a long, complex finish.
