Based in Baños de Ebro, Bodegas Artuke produces terroir-focused wines from old vines in Rioja Alavesa. Trascuevas Blanco is sourced from historic bush vines planted mainly to Viura with small proportions of Malvasía and other traditional varieties on calcareous soils. Fermentation takes place in concrete with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in large neutral oak barrels to preserve texture and site character. The 2022 vintage shows clarity and freshness.
