Based in the Jura in eastern France, Domaine des Ronces farms organically on limestone and marl soils typical of the region. Florale is a Côtes du Jura wine produced primarily from Chardonnay grown on clay-limestone slopes. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in traditional barrels, followed by ageing under a thin veil of yeast known as flor, a technique typical of Jura winemaking. The balanced 2018 vintage delivered both freshness and complexity.
