Based in the Wachau, Weingut F. X. Pichler produces small quantities of Muskateller alongside its renowned Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The grapes are sourced from vineyards around Loiben planted on loess and weathered rock soils that promote aromatic expression. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve the variety’s natural fragrance and freshness. Compared with the estate’s powerful Smaragd wines, Muskateller offers a lighter and more delicate style.
