Located in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux on the Right Bank, Château Le Rey farms vineyards on limestone and clay slopes overlooking the Dordogne Valley. The estate focuses primarily on Merlot supported by Cabernet Franc grown on hillside parcels that provide both ripeness and freshness. Les Rocheuses is typically composed of around 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats followed by ageing in oak barrels to develop structure and complexity. The warm 2019 vintage delivered both concentration and balance.
