Based in Wehlen in the Mosel Valley, Weingut Markus Molitor produces some of Germany’s most celebrated sweet Rieslings from historic slate vineyards. Wehlener Sonnenuhr Trockenbeerenauslese comes from individually selected botrytised berries harvested at extreme ripeness. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented slowly in traditional oak casks to preserve purity and balance. The warm 2013 vintage delivered exceptional concentration and aromatic intensity.
