Based in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Clos du Mont Olivet is a family estate known for traditional Grenache-dominant blends from historic parcels. Cuvée S is sourced primarily from old-vine Grenache planted on sandy and clay soils with galets roulés. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in large oak foudres to preserve fruit purity rather than oak influence. The balanced 2019 vintage delivered both ripeness and freshness.
