Based in the Costers del Segre region of Catalonia, Castell d’Encus cultivates high-altitude vineyards that emphasise freshness and precision. Ekam is produced from Riesling grown on limestone soils at altitude. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and neutral oak barrels, followed by ageing on fine lees to develop texture while preserving aromatic clarity. The warm 2018 vintage delivered ripe fruit balanced by vibrant acidity.
