2018 Château Larmande Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Located on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion in Bordeaux, Château Larmande is one of the oldest estates in the appellation, producing Merlot-dominant wines from clay and limestone soils. The blend is led by Merlot with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats followed by ageing in French oak barrels to develop structure and complexity. The warm 2018 vintage delivered concentration and ripe fruit balanced by freshness. Compared with cooler vintages, this release shows greater depth and richness, combining blackberry, plum and subtle cedar notes with firm tannins and long mineral finish typical of Saint-Émilion wines https://chateau-larmande.fr/en/
