Located in Martinborough in New Zealand’s Wairarapa region, Kusuda Wines produces this rare Trockenbeerenauslese from individually selected botrytised Riesling berries harvested at extreme ripeness. The grapes are carefully sorted by hand before slow fermentation to preserve both sweetness and acidity. The 2022 vintage delivered exceptional concentration balanced by vibrant freshness. Compared with the estate’s dry Riesling, Trockenbeerenauslese shows far greater richness and intensity, combining honey, candied citrus and dried apricot notes with remarkable purity and long, layered finish typical of world-class botrytised Riesling.
