2017 Castell d’Encus Acusp
Based in the high-altitude vineyards of Costers del Segre in Catalonia, Castell d’Encus farms vineyards planted between 800 and 1,000 metres above sea level. Acusp is produced from Pinot Noir grown on limestone and clay soils that promote freshness and aromatic finesse. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak barrels, the wine develops structure while preserving varietal expression. The balanced 2017 vintage delivered both ripeness and acidity. Compared to Quest, Acusp is lighter and more aromatic, combining red berry fruit, floral notes and subtle spice with fine tannins https://castelldencus.com/
