Based in Bierzo, Michelini i Mufatto produces Encrucijada from old-vine Mencía planted on steep hillside vineyards. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts followed by ageing in neutral oak vessels to preserve vineyard expression. The balanced 2021 vintage delivered freshness and depth.
