Located in Bierzo in northwest Spain, Michelini i Mufatto produces Encrucijada from old Mencía vines planted on slate soils. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts followed by ageing in neutral oak vessels. The warm 2022 vintage delivered expressive fruit balanced by freshness.
