Located in Gigondas in the southern Rhône, Moulin de la Gardette produces Cuvée Ventabren from selected old-vine parcels planted on limestone slopes. The blend is based mainly on Grenache supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre. Fermentation takes place in traditional vats followed by ageing in oak vessels to build depth and structure. The warm 2020 vintage delivered ripe fruit and concentration. Compared with Cuvée Tradition, Ventabren shows greater intensity and ageing potential, combining blackberry, plum and spice with firm tannins and mineral character.
